S4E8: “Faith Without Works is Dead(ly)” with Dr. Mallory Wyckoff
Wednesday, June 3, 2020
PreacHer: Dr. Mallory Wyckoff
Summary: If you’ve ever read the book of James, you know that the author makes a strong case for practicing what you preach, putting your money where your mouth is, letting your actions speak louder than your words. And the thing is, all those deeply-held convictions that never materialize in tangible action are dangerous. Faith without works isn’t just dead--it’s deadly. It’s poisonous and tricky and can lull us into a state of being half-asleep where we think our thinking alone is enough. It’s not. But let’s put our thinking minds and loving hearts together to figure out how and where to channel our faith and convictions in acts of love that Just. Might. Change. The. World.
